Seasoned campaigner Mahesh Jagdale recorded a fluent 4-0 win against Samarth Vernekar in a third-round qualifying match of the CCI Snooker Classic 2025, an all-India tournament, played at the CCI’s Wilson Jones billiards hall on Saturday.
Jagdale after comfortably winning the opening two frames encountered some resistance from Vernekar in the next two frames. He managed to pull through to complete a 63-4, 56-14, 76-42, and 71-52 victory and qualified for the main draw.
Rahul Sachdev was also in impressive form and defeated Selven Samuel by a similar 4-0 margin in another third round encounter. The left-handed Sachdev registered a 65-48, 64-36, 66-38, an 74-11 win and progressed to the main draw.

Pamula Avinash beat Rishi Ramaiya 3-0 (50-14, 68-25, 47-23);
Sarvik Srivastav beat Rutul Pambhar 3-2 (23-49, 63-36, 42-67, 65-52, 50-36).
