Australia opener David Warner struck his second ODI hundred in succession in the ongoing match against Netherlands at the ICC World Cup 2023 in Delhi on Wednesday.
Warner scored his 22nd century in the format and second of this edition to equal Sachin Tendulkar's tally of 6 tons in the ODI World Cup.
The left-handed opener is now joint-second along with Tendulkar on the list of most World Cup hundreds by batters in the tournament's 48-year history.
India captain Rohit Sharma leads the pack with 7 hundreds, 5 of which he had struck in the 2019 edition in England. Former greats Kumar Sangakkara and Ricky Ponting complete the top five with 5 centuries each.
