VIDEO: Tragic Crash On Solapur-Pune Highway; 3 Dead, 15 Injured In Horrific Collision

In yet another accident, a truck, mini-bus, and two-wheeler collided near Kolewadi on the Solapur-Pune highway, killing three people, including the mini-bus driver, and injuring 15 others, an official said.

As per the information by Police, the truck veered into the wrong lane, causing the mini-bus to overturn.

The case was registered.

The horrific accident took place between a container, minibus, and a two-wheeler on the Solapur-Pune highway near Kolewadi in Mohol taluka.

The container and the two-wheeler collided first on the Solapur-Pune highway. After this accident, the truck veered to the wrong side and hit the mini-bus hard. The truck hit the mini-bus, causing it to overturn on the highway. Devotees going to Pandharpur-Tuljapur Devdarshan were traveling in this mini-bus. Three people, including the bus driver, were killed on the spot in the accident, while 15 people were injured. One person, including the two-wheeler rider Dayanand Bhosale and mini-bus driver Laxman Pawar, died on the spot. Traffic on the highway was disrupted after the accident between the container, minibus, and two-wheeler. The overturned mini-bus was removed with the help of a crane. A case has been registered against the container driver in this case.

In January, nine people died in a road accident on the Nashik-Pune highway.

As per the further information shared by Pune Rural Police SP Pankaj Deshmukh, "The accident occurred after a truck dashed a minivan from behind, which further collided with a bus (which was stationed)."

The accident occurred near Narayangaon around 10 am.

The minivan was heading towards Narayangaon when a tempo hit the vehicle from behind, causing it to ram into an empty bus parked on the side of the road.
