Notorious Goon Syed Faizal Alias Teja Paraded In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Video)

Notorious goon Syed Faizal alias Teja, 30, from Kile Ark in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar was paraded barefoot on Wednesday after a video went viral where Teja is seen challenging the police that he would shoot four girls dead in the locality. 

While out on a bail a couple of days ago, Teja opened fire on his girlfriend. His girlfriend was seriously injured and is being treated in the hospital presently. He then went on camera and threatened to shoot four more girls. His video of the threat had gone viral on social media and it spread terror among the people. 

Teja was in inebriated condition when he opened fire on his girlfriend on August 11. Drug peddler Taleb Chaus, Shel Karim Syed, Teja’s mother Reshma Anjum Syed were present during the incident. The police arrested him in an inebriated condition.

Considering the increased panic about Teja among the people and a possibility of law and order condition, the city police paraded Teja from Amkhas Maidam to Kile Ark barefoot. Later, he was also paraded in the Buddi Lane and Connaught Place area, where Teja used to spread terror among the people.

Before parading, he was presented before commissioner of police Praveen Pawar, where he apologized. Later, he was made bald and taken for the parade.

The police are now searching for the pistol used by him to shoot his girlfriend. “Such hooliganism of the criminals will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken”, said Begumpura police station PI Mangesh Jagtap.

More than 19 cases are registered with various police stations against Teja including under NDPS. It will be important to see whether the increasing criminal activities of the criminals will decrease in the city limits after this action was executed by the police. 

The team of officers including API Sunil Lahane, PSI Vishal Bodakhe, Rajesh Yandmal, Sham Aade, Balu Lahare, Navnath Khandekar, Vijay Nikam, Somkant Bhalerao and others paraded him handcuffed.
