Jalgaon Collector Reviews Pending Development Works, Urges Speedy Completion of Key Projects

The Jalgaon district administration was recently freed from the work of the assembly elections. Collector Ayush Prasad reviewed the various schemes and development works being implemented in Jalgaon district on Friday in the district planning committee hall. Most of the issues related to the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) were included in it.

In this meeting, all the development works were reviewed in detail by the concerned officials, and instructions were given to the concerned officials and employees to complete all the pending works within the scheduled time. At this time, the system with which the works are pending was taken on the phone, and the problems were solved face-to-face.

Pending works discussed

Pending bridges at various places of railways, related public works, land acquisition, sports, transport, urban development, forests, stamp duty, town planning, GSDA, rural development, water supply, education department, sports, district industrial centre, cooperatives, skill development, urban development, rehabilitation, MIDC, etc. pending development works and schemes in all departments were followed up, especially for railways. Instructions were given to take immediate action on land acquisition, pending land acquisition for highways, and water resources.

Stating that the issue of the National Highway is very important, the Collector reminded that there is a need to increase its work speed, saying that we will be present wherever there is an obstacle to do this work on a war footing. Along with this, the Collector gave instructions to the concerned officials that all pending works in water resources and other departments should be completed immediately with proper coordination.
