Following the collapse at Kundmala in the Maval area near Talegaon Dabhade in Pune district on Sunday, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) immediately launched a rescue operation.
The bridge, built over the Indrayani River, is a popular tourist spot. At least two people have been confirmed dead, while several others are feared drowned after the sudden collapse.
