Woman Ejected From Spinning Ride After Safety Bar Comes Loose In Ahilyanagar, Suffers Serious Injuries

A routine outing at a local fair in Maharashtra’s Ahilyanagar district turned terrifying when a young woman was thrown from an amusement ride, leaving her seriously injured.

According to eyewitness accounts, the unidentified woman had boarded a spinning ride at the fair being held as part of the Nageshwar Yatra celebrations.

The incident occurred after the iron safety restraint securing her seat reportedly came loose while the ride was in motion. As the ride continued spinning rapidly, the woman was ejected from her seat and fell to the ground.

The accident triggered panic among those present at the fair. The injured woman was immediately taken to a nearby government hospital for treatment.

Doctors said she sustained serious injuries in the fall, though her condition is currently reported to be stable.

The incident has renewed concerns over safety standards at amusement rides commonly operated at fairs across India.

Residents of Jamkhed have urged the local administration to take stringent action against the ride operators and carry out comprehensive safety inspections of such attractions to prevent similar accidents in the future.
