VIDEO: Nair Hospital Staffer Dies After Jumping Off 15th Floor Of Building In Mumbai's Agripada
It looks like the video was shot from the opposite building. A woman can be heard screaming as soon as the 33-year-old man jumps off the terrace. The man was already standing at the edge of the terrace when the video was shot.

Mumbai: A 33-year-old man, an employee at the Nair Hospital who worked as Registration Assistant (RA) died by suicide on Monday (May 6) evening. The deceased was identified as Rohit Kishore Gurbhani, who was working at the hospital since 2015. Gurbhani originally hailed from Madhya Pradesh and migrated to the city for work and treatment.
According to the police, the incident happened around 4:30 pm at the Topaz Plaza’s terrace, opposite Wockhardt Hospital in Mumbai Central, within the jurisdiction of Agripada police station.
The building from where the youth jumped to death also has staff quarters for Nair Hospital employees where Gurbhani lived for several years.
Locals found Gurbhani’s body and alerted the police. He was admitted to Nair Hospital at 5:40 pm. The hospital authorities declared him dead before arrival.
Gurbhani was also a patient of schizophrenia, and was undergoing treatment at the psychiatry ward for the past 8 years, said police officials, adding that he had a history of attempt to suicide due to his mental illness.
The Agripada police have registered a case of accidental death in the matter. A video of Gurbhani jumping off the terrace later went viral on social media.
