Thane: The supporters of rebel MLA Eknath Shinde called a public meeting outside Anand Ashram at Tembhi Naka in Thane on Monday, June 27 at around 11 am.

The Shiv-Sainiks who are supporting Eknath Shinde have started gathering at Anand Ashram.

As the political crisis in Maharashtra deepens, Eknath Shinde has the support of a total of 40 MLAs and due to their role, the Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) government is in trouble.

Some Shiv Sainiks are supporting Shinde's role and this role is strongly opposed by Sainiks supporting Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray. While all these things are happening, a show of strength is taking place at Tembhi Naka in Thane on Monday in support of Eknath Shinde.

A legal battle has erupted between the Shiv Sena and the rebel Eknath Shinde faction over the stability of the Mahavikas Aghadi government. Shinde has challenged in the Supreme Court the disqualification notices sent to 16 rebel MLAs and the appointment of group leaders.
