Thane: Tata Technologies Ltd is establishing a skill development institute in Dawadi in Kalyan. It will serve as a centre for invention, innovation, incubation, and training. The foundation stone was laid by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

This initiative will benefit students and small-scale industries, with 7,000 youth expected to receive training in fields such as artificial intelligence and drone manufacturing, as well as in other areas such as engineering, operations, and technician roles, helping them secure quality employment.
