The District Information Office of Raigad in Alibag has released a comprehensive list of 37 hospitals in the district that are affiliated with the Chief Minister's Medical Assistance Scheme, offering financial support to economically disadvantaged patients suffering from critical illnesses.
The initiative, managed through the Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance Cell, aims to simplify access to medical aid by enabling citizens to apply locally rather than visiting the state secretariat in Mumbai. The district-level CM Medical Assistance Cell was formally inaugurated at the Raigad Collectorate in Alibag on May 1, coinciding with Maharashtra Day.
"Patients can now approach the local CM Aid Cell to receive information about required documents, hospital affiliations, and application status updates. The scheme ensures financial assistance is disbursed directly through the hospital network for treatments of serious and life-threatening conditions," the statement said.
The affiliated hospitals include notable names such as Aadhar Multispeciality Hospital (Panvel), Aditya Nursing Home (Mahad), Dr. A.A. Deshmukh Health Foundation (Mahad), Life Care Multispeciality Hospital (Panvel), Lifeline Hospital (New Panvel), Mangala Nursing Home and Cancer Hospital (Pen), and Sumitraj Hospital (Khopoli), among others. The list spans facilities across Panvel, Mahad, Uran, Mangaon, Pen, Khopoli, and other parts of the district.
