The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has received reports of fake advertisements and notifications falsely claiming that recruitment is underway for various officer and staff positions. Additionally, some individuals have received fraudulent appointment letters issued on fake NMMC letterheads, bearing the corporation's logo and a counterfeit seal.
In response to these incidents, affected candidates have filed complaints with the police, and NMMC has also officially lodged a complaint with the authorities.
The corporation clarifies that no recruitment process is currently underway for any position. Citizens are urged not to fall prey to such misleading information or advertisements and to avoid any financial loss.
