Navi Mumbai Crime Branch Nab Two For Multiple Thefts; One Has 63 Prior Cases
The accused have been identified as Vikas Dileep Kamble, a resident of Chikli in Pimpri, Pune and Nisar Ali Nazarali Shah, 35, a resident of Sarbavasti in Uttar Pradesh. Kamble was released on bail after serving time in Thane jail.

Navi Mumbai: The Central Unit of Navi Mumbai crime branch has arrested a 33-year-old man involved in around 63 theft cases and his accomplice who committed nine cases with the former.
About The Case
The accused have been identified as Vikas Dileep Kamble, a resident of Chikli in Pimpri, Pune and Nisar Ali Nazarali Shah, 35, a resident of Sarbavasti in Uttar Pradesh. Kamble was released on bail after serving time in Thane jail. On October 30, after attending a court date in Borivali, he stole a bike in Goregaon, then travelled to Vashi where he broke into a shop and stole Rs 1 lakh. He later committed similar crimes in Nerul and Kharghar on November 7 and 15, stealing Rs 50,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively.

The crime branch team identified the suspects using CCTV footage and Kamble’s criminal record. “We then got an information that he will come to Panvel with his accomplice and we nabbed him from there,” senior police inspector Suni Shinde from the Central Unit of the crime branch said. After being out on bail, Kamble has committed around eight shop breaks and one vehicle theft along with Shah.
This is the first time Shah has been arrested. As of now, Shah’s involvement is found only in the nine cases. Kamble has a record of a total of 63 cases in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai and Pune.
