Mumbai: A fire broke out at a garment unit located on Duckline Road in Khindipada, Bhandup (West), on August 11. The incident was reported at 1:38 PM, and the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) quickly responded to the scene. According to officials, the fire was confined to a plastic material godown on the second floor of a three-story building.
On August 11, at 1:38 PM, a Level 1 fire occurred at All Fit Garment in Bhandup, with no reported injuries. The MFB declared the fire a Level 1 incident at 1:50 PM and mobilised resources to control the blaze. Fortunately, due to the swift response, the fire was brought under control without any injuries or major damage.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and an investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances leading to the incident. The authorities will examine the structure and assess whether any safety protocols were breached.
