Mumbai News: Former MLA Zeeshan Siddique Allegedly Chased By Unknown Man; Police Probe Underway, Detention Unconfirmed

Mumbai: Former MLA Zeeshan Siddique was allegedly chased by an unknown person on Thursday. Danial, personal assistant to Zeeshan Siddique, confirmed to FPJ that an unidentified individual had followed the former MLA. He stated, "An unidentified individual chased former MLA Zeeshan Siddique, and the Nirmal Nagar police have detained him."

When asked about the individual and how he followed Siddique, Danial said, "The police will investigate. We do not have more information about the individual." However, the police have not officially confirmed the detention of any person.

According to sources, a youth was reportedly chasing Zeeshan Siddique throughout the day on Thursday. Further investigation is underway. Siddique has received threats from unknown individuals on multiple occasions in the past.

Zeeshan Siddique's security has been significantly increased since his father, Baba Siddique, was murdered. Baba Siddique was shot by three assailants in Bandra East on October 12, 2024. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he was declared dead.
