Mumbai: In a shocking incident reported from Andheri West, Mumbai, a 30-year-old woman lawyer was allegedly molested by a delivery agent following a dispute over payment for a parcel. The incident occurred on May 8, and a formal complaint has been lodged at the Amboli Police Station.
According to the complainant, on May 6, her brother had ordered two perfumes from the brand Fogg via Flipkart. On May 8, around 7:50 PM, a delivery agent identifying himself as Altaf Mirza arrived at their residence with the parcel. Since her brother was not at home at the time, the woman accepted the delivery and informed the delivery agent that her brother would transfer the money via PhonePe (GPay). However, at 8:58 PM the same evening, Altaf returned to the house, claiming he hadn’t received the payment and demanded the parcel back. The woman returned both packages due to the unresolved payment issue.
