CJP Spokesperson Saurav Das Visits Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple, Offers Prayers
Cockroach Janata Party spokesperson Saurav Das visited Mumbai's Siddhivinayak Temple on Saturday to offer prayers, days after the group withdrew its agitation over the alleged NEET paper leak. The CJP is now discussing its future roadmap, including greater focus on grassroots issues and supporting students when required.

Mumbai: Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) spokesperson Saurav Das on Saturday visited the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai to seek blessings and offer prayers.
The visit comes days after the CJP movement withdrew its agitation following the resignation of former Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan amid mounting pressure from the prolonged protest at Jantar Mantar. Pralhad Joshi has since assumed office as the new Education Minister. Joshi also holds charge as the Union Cabinet Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, as well as the Minister for New and Renewable Energy.
Security concerns raised
Meanwhile, earlier this week, Das alleged that some YouTubers and members of the media entered his Delhi residence without permission and filmed its interiors. He claimed that the incident had created a serious security risk for his family.
The allegations came days after videos and social media posts questioned Das' lifestyle, including claims that he pays nearly Rs12 lakh in rent for a luxury residence in Greater Kailash-1 (GK-1). The claims have since triggered a political row over the CJP leader's finances and the funding of the movement.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Das claimed that around 15 to 20 people had gathered outside his residence.

The allegations surfaced while Das was in Maharashtra for the CJP's two-day meeting. The meeting comes amid rumours surrounding the party's future, including speculation over whether CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke plans to register the organisation as a political party. However, CJP members have denied the rumours.
The two-day meeting is reportedly being held to discuss the party's future roadmap following its month-long agitation over the alleged NEET paper leak at Delhi's Jantar Mantar.
The CJP has now said it will focus more on grassroots-level issues and extend support to students whenever they require assistance.
