Sanjivani Clinics, Yoga Sheds, Roads Inaugurated In Indore

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Indore continues to see infrastructure expansion as new civic facilities including Sanjivani Clinics, yoga sheds, gardens, drainage systems and roads were inaugurated across several wards, including Ward 72 on Sunday.

The inauguration was carried out jointly by Cabinet minister Tulsiram Silawat, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav, MP Shankar Lalwani and BJP city president Sumit Mishra in the presence of local corporators, party leaders and residents.

Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav announced that Indore will not only remain India’s cleanest city but also move towards becoming the healthiest city.

He said that Sanjivani Clinics have already been set up in 71 wards and that the target of building 6 model schools has been surpassed, with 12 schools already completed. ‘We have laid the foundation for Indore 2050 by strengthening infrastructure, drainage, roads and drinking water facilities,’ he said.

The Mayor also declared Mahawar Nagar as an Adarsh Basti (model settlement) and announced that Usha Nagar Square will now be named Veerangana Jhalkari Bai Square.

Silawat praised Indore’s spirit of unity and achievement. ‘Indore’s biggest strength is the love and trust among its people. Whatever Indore does, it does remarkably. With passion and dedication, this city can be ranked number one not just eight times, but eighty times,’ he said. He also highlighted the ‘triveni sangam’ of health, education and cleanliness being spearheaded by the young mayor.

Lalwani thanked the Mayor for declaring Mahawar Nagar a model settlement and announced that work on the long-awaited Kesar Bagh Bridge will begin soon, with the foundation stone-laying ceremony to take place shortly. Mishra underlined the progress achieved in the past 25 years of BJP governance.

‘Indore has travelled the journey from tempos to Metro under the BJP. The inauguration of Sanjivani Clinics on Goga Navami reflects Deendayal Upadhyay’s vision of ensuring that even the last person in society receives essential services,’ he said.
