Removed From Indore's MY Hosp, Diagnostic Centre Gets Space In District Hospital
Meanwhile, the District Hospital’s construction, going on for over six years, remains incomplete, with four floors finished and work on the fifth underway.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A diagnostic centre which was removed from Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital due to complaints of inaccurate test reports and contract violations, has now got the contract to work at the District Hospital.
The state government has given the contract to Krsna Diagnostic Centre which will function under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, utilising the pathology department’s space for its set-up.

Health officials in Bhopal have approved the centre’s functioning in the District Hospital and it is likely to be operational within a month. However, the reassignment of pathology space has created a space crunch, prompting plans for a new four-story building near the under-construction District Hospital.
Once operational, the diagnostic centre will introduce MRI and CT scan facilities at the hospital for the first time, offering much needed relief to patients by eliminating the need for outside lab tests. Meanwhile, the District Hospital’s construction, going on for over six years, remains incomplete, with four floors finished and work on the fifth underway.
“The new centre would significantly improve access to diagnostic services for patients. The centre is expected to start functioning within a month under the PPP model”.
