Two Bikers Killed In Dhar Road Accident
Dhar/Sardarpur (Madhya Pradesh): Two bikers were killed in a road accident on Indore-Ahmedabad four-lane highway on Sunday morning. An unknown vehicle hit their bike near Khakeri Phate village in Amjhera police station area. Victims, Bablu Dawar and Hare Singh both from Ghorabav Tirla died on the spot. Passers-by alerted the police who sent the bodies for postmortem.
The police identified the deceased through calls made to their mobile phones. A case has been registered and the police are actively searching for the unknown vehicle involved in the accident. Police station in-charge Ravindra Singh Baria stated that both men were heading towards Mangod when the tragic incident occurred.
Retired Project Officer Dies Of Heart Attack At Mandsaur's Pashupatinath Temple
Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): A retired Project Officer, district panchayat, died after suffering from a heart attack in a temple in the city on Saturday. The incident took place inside Pashupatinath Temple. The tragedy unfolded during morning Abhishek at the temple, where Rajesh Dubey became unconscious.
Just a day before, his wife Shobha Dubey had retired from Balaganj Government School, with a farewell ceremony held in her honour. The family had been celebrating her retirement when their joy turned to sorrow. Despite quick medical assistance, doctors could not revive him. His funeral took place at Muktidham. Dubey, along with his efficient identity in administrative work, was also active in social, cultural and religious activities.
Police Seize 396 Bulk Litres Of Liquor Worth ₹1 Lakh
Jhabua (Madhya Pradesh): Ranapur Police seized 33 crates of 396 bulk illegal liquor worth Rs 1,02,960 and arrested two persons in a recent operation. The action was part of SP Padma Vilochan Shukla to stop illegal activities in the district. Under the guidance of ASP Premlal Kurve and SDO Ruprekha Yadav, inspector Dinesh Rawat led a police team to take action.
The police got a tip-off about a car carrying illegal liquor. They quickly stopped a car on Dhamni-Katara-Dholavad Road. Inside, they found 396 bulk litres of beer. The total value of seized liquor and the car is around Rs 6,02,960. The police arrested 20-year-old Rahul Akhadia from Dholyawad and a minor. A case has been filed under Excise Act at Ranapur police station and investigation is underway.
