Party leaders decided that they are going to hold a meeting on October 26 in Kukdeshwar in which it will be decided that if the organisation does not change the ticket from Manasa, then an independent candidate will be fielded.
Former MLA Kailash Chawla said that the BJP released the list of candidates on Saturday, in which the candidate declared from Manasa is completely against public opinion.
During the last five years of the MLA tenure of the concerned candidate, terror and corruption were rampant in the entire area and no stone was left unturned to harass the common man.
The situation is that the official candidate of BJP neither has the decency to talk to anyone nor the understanding of the organization, he alleged. Chawla said that only a point programme is going on in Manasa, abuse and get your work done by creating pressure.
Accusing Maru, Chawla said that all the police stations are tied, there is corruption in the tehsil and work is being done to collect money from everywhere.
When Free Press contacted, Chawla said, “The party has given ticket to the wrong person and to attract the attention of the party, we will organise a workers' conference in Kukadeshwar on October 26 and further action will be taken after the decision taken there.”
