Indore (Madhya Pradesh): An 80-year-old man committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence under Malharganj police station limits on Saturday. He left a suicide note mentioning that he was distressed with his disease and to get rid of it, he took the drastic step.
According to the police, the deceased was identified as Moolchand Goyal, a resident of Kailash Marg.
As per reports, he had participated in the Ashtami puja at the house after which he consumed some poisonous substance. The family members rushed him to hospital where he died during treatment.
Depressed after divorce, 32-year-old man kills self
A 32-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself at his place under Khajrana police station limits on Saturday. Preliminary investigation revealed that he was depressed and distressed due to his divorce.
According to the police, the deceased was identified as Mohammad Zuber, a resident of Samrat Colony. He was depressed for a long time as he got divorced and separated from wife.
He took the drastic step when he was alone at home. His family members found him hanging and rushed him to hospital where he was declared dead.
