Indore: BJP vision document out; promise to make all govt schools smart, provide tap water to each house

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): BJP rolled out their vision document (Vachan Patra) on Friday with a promise to convert all government schools into smart schools and provide tap water to each household. They also offered several freebies to the poor and senior citizens.

The function was held at Brilliant Convention Centre where senior BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia and other local leaders were present.

They promised free travel in public transport for aged women and labourers.

In the field of infrastructure development, the party has promised several new flyovers and elevated corridors for the smooth flow of traffic. They also promised foot overbridges with escalators wherever required, and also to expand the metro project in the coming years.

They promised an open gym in each colony to increase fitness among the people of the city.

They promised to give food at Rs 10 at Deen Dayal Rasoi Kendra in the city for the poor. They will also make the city free of dogs and all beggars in the city will be given gainful employment.

They will also develop Sakhi Haat Bazar for women and help sell their products online. They also promised to make the city start-up friendly.

The document also promised to give jobs to 5,000 to 10,000 people in the IMC, and give concessions in taxes (for sanctioning building maps etc) to people living in Smart City area.
