West Bengal: 4 Dead, Including 2 Women, In Explosion At Illegal Firecracker Factory In Nadia
According to sources, one person with serious injuries has been admitted to a local hospital. Soon after the huge explosion the local police along with fire brigade had reached the spot as after the explosion fire broke out at the factory.

Kolkata: At least 4 people including two women died on Friday due to an explosion at an illegal fire cracker factory at Kalyani in Nadia district.
According to sources, one person with serious injuries has been admitted to a local hospital.
Soon after the huge explosion the local police along with fire brigade had reached the spot as after the explosion fire broke out at the factory.

The forensic team had also reached the spot to collect samples for the factory.
A police officer said that the probe is going on and also that the factory didn’t have proper permissions.
Nilimesh Roychowdhury, chairperson Kalyani Municipal Corporation said, “We will probe the incident. It was not a factory but a godown.”
Tension erupted more after Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) MLA Ambika Roy visited the area and few local residents gave the ‘Go Back’ slogan at him.
“The one who are creating ruckus are Trinamool Congress (TMC) goons and are responsible for the explosion,” said the BJP MLA.
