Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Engages Meerut Farmers Under Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan interacted with farmers in Meerut district today as part of the nationwide Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan. The program, held in Dabathua and Jangeethi villages, focused on innovative farming techniques including organic practices, soil health management, and crop diversification.  

Chouhan emphasized the government's commitment to strengthening agricultural technology, research, and market access to achieve self-reliance in farming.

The event saw participation from hundreds of farmers, agricultural scientists, and local officials discussing water conservation methods and modernization of farming practices.  

The campaign aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for developed India by 2047, with agriculture positioned as a key growth sector. Similar outreach programs are being conducted across all states to promote sustainable farming solutions.
