Reels Turn Fatal: SUV Plunges Into Fatehwadi Canal In Gujarat's Ahmedabad While Performing Stunt; 2 DEAD, 1 Missing - VIDEO
Two youths lost their lives, while one is still missing in Gujarat's Ahmedabad after their SUV fell into Fatehwadi Canal. According to reports, three youths along with their friends went near the canal to perform a stunt for shooting reels. However, the youth who was driving the SUV lost control of the vehicle and it plunged into the canal.

Ahmedabad: As the craze of making reels is increasing day by day, people are putting their lives in danger just to gain attention on social media. In one such incident, two youths lost their lives, while one is still missing in Gujarat's Ahmedabad after their SUV fell into Fatehwadi Canal.
According to reports, three youths went near the canal to perform a stunt for shooting reels. However, the youth who was driving the SUV lost control of the vehicle and it plunged into the canal. The incident, which took place on Wednesday evening, was captured on camera and the video went viral on social media.
In the video, it could be seen that while trying to a U-turn near the canal, the driver lost control and the vehicle plunged into the canal. One person was also seen standing near the canal when the SUV fell into the water body. Authorities reached the spot after receiving the information.
Video Of The Incident:
Two youths, who died in the incident, have been identified as Yash Solanki and Yaksh Bhankodia. Meanwhile, the missing youth has been identified as Krish Dave. The incident took place near Vasna Barrage.

According to a report by The Times of India, friends of the three youths who were present at the spot threw a rope into the water to try and rescue them. Dave was sitting next to the driver's seat when the incident took place.
As per the initial investigation, the car was hired by a group of around 10 friends to shoot social media reels, reported TOI. As per the report, the driver is likely to have pressed the accelerator instead of the brake while taking a U-turn. The driver was reportedly a minor.
