Rajasthan: Nitrogen Gas Leak In Beawar Kills 3, 54 Hospitalized (VIDEO)

Jaipur: Leakage of nitrogen gas from a tanker parked in an acid warehouse in Beawar, Rajasthan late on Monday night has claimed three lives so far while 54 have been hospitalized due to irritation in the eyes and breathing difficulty.
Looking at the seriousness of the matter, district Collector Dr. Mahendra Khadgawat has ordered to seal the warehouse. Warehouse owner Sunil died late on Monday night, while two others, Narendra and Dayaram who were referred to Ajmer died during treatment on Tuesday morning. 54 are being treated in the hospital, out of which five are reported to be critical.

The incident happened when the chemical in the tanker parked at the warehouse was filling the warehouse gas reservoir. The gas soon spread to the nearby houses.
