Punjab Police Bust Drug Racket In Jalandhar, Seize 13 Kg Heroin & Luxury Cars
According to official information, the arrested accused have been identified as Shivam Sodhi and Barinder Singh, both residents of Jalandhar. Stating that while Shivam was nabbed with 5 kg of heroin and Rs 22,000 drug money, police said that his interrogation led to recovery of 7 kg more heroin.

Chandigarh: Punjab police on Sunday claimed to have busted a drug racket with the arrest of two smugglers and recovery of 13 kg heroin, two pistols and three luxury cars from their possession in Jalandhar district.
According to official information, the arrested accused have been identified as Shivam Sodhi and Barinder Singh, both residents of Jalandhar. Stating that while Shivam was nabbed with 5 kg of heroin and Rs 22,000 drug money, police said that his interrogation led to recovery of 7 kg more heroin.

Police said that on the basis of Shivam disclosures, his associate Barinder Singh was also caught and 1 kg heroin, two illegal .32 bore pistols, six live cartridges, three magazines and three luxury vehicles were recovered from his possession.
According to police, while Shivam faces three prior cases, Barinder has four cases already registered against him.
