Noida Crime: Thief Runs After Snatching Woman's Phone In Broad Daylight; CCTV Footage Surfaces
The crime took place in Noida's posh Sector 34 and the entire incident was captured by a CCTV camera which was placed right at the scene.

Noida: In a recent incident that sent shockwaves through Uttar Pradesh's Noida, a brazen theft occurred in broad daylight. A miscreant swiftly grabbed a woman's mobile phone and made a quick escape. The thief escaped by running on foot and not in any vehicle. It is dangerous that criminals escape on foot after committing the crime during broad daylight.
Theft captured on camera
This audacious act unfolded in the upscale Sector 34 of Noida, and the entire episode was captured by a strategically placed CCTV camera at the scene. The video footage depicts the woman engrossed in a phone conversation as she walks ahead.
Thief snatches mobile from woman
Suddenly, the thief, approaching from behind, snatches the mobile phone from her grasp before swiftly making his getaway on foot in the opposite direction.
The thief escaped on foot
Within a matter of seconds, the thief vanished from view, leaving the victim in pursuit, desperately realizing what had just transpired. A security guard at the location also gave chase to apprehend the phone snatcher. As of now, it remains unclear whether the victim and the security guard were successful in apprehending the thief.
Police initiate probe
Gautam Buddh Nagar Police has registered a case in connection with the incident and has initiated probe. The police has started the inestigation of the CCTV footage and has also started investigating other CCTV cameras installed in the area. The Police on its official social media account said "In relation to the above mentioned mobile snatching incident, action is being taken by Sector-24 police station on the basis of CCTV footage, a team has been formed. The incident will be revealed soon."
