Vijayapura: A shocking incident has come to light from Karnataka's Vijayapura, where a man was held captive and chained to an iron pole by two men over non-payment of a ₹20,000 loan, NDTV reported.
The accused reportedly picked up the man, identified as Bhashasab Mulla, on a motorbike and brought him to the village on Friday (18 July). They chained his leg in front of a local shop and held him there from early morning until 4 p.m. The accused reportedly tortured the victim and subjected him to verbal abuse.
A video from the scene has emerged, showing a man unlocking the chain fastened to the victim's leg.
