Two students of Teerthanker Mahaveer University are reported to be in critical condition after lightning struck Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad on Thursday, April 10. Three others also sustained burn injuries.
Five students were standing under a tree to avoid rain when the lightning struck them. The incident was caught on CCTV. The disturbing video also surfaced online.

In the video, it could be seen that four out of five students collapsed immediately after the lightning struck. Meanwhile, one student got up and ran away from the spot. The students suffered burn injuries.
They were taken to a hospital for treatment. Two students are reported to be in critical condition.
Around 50 Dead In UP, Bihar And Uttarakhand After Lightning, Thunderstorms Wreak Havoc:
Notably, at least 47 people were reportedly killed in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Uttarakhand on Thursday, April 10, in lightning strikes and rain-related incidents. At least 18 deaths were reported in Nalanda. Meanwhile, on Wednesday 13 people had lost their lives in lightning strikes in four districts of Bihar.
In Uttar Pradesh, at least 22 people were killed in rain-related and lightning strike incidents.
