Watch: Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh walks off stage after man showers her with notes during live performance

Popular Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh, who was also seen in Karan Johar's 'Bigg Boss OTT', recently had a distasteful encounter after a man allegedly insulted her during a live performance.

A video of the incident has gone viral on the internet wherein Akshara can be seen singing and entertaining her fans at a live event in Jharkhand. While she continued singing, a man went near the stage and showered a bundle of currency notes on her, and this act did not go down well with the actress.

Akshara was then seen handing over the mic to the organiser and angrily storming off the stage without any further explanation.

Akshara is yet to issue a statement on the incident.

This is not the first time that Akshara has hit headlines in the recent past. A few months ago, the actress was all over the news for a leaked MMS video allegedly featuring her with a man in a compromising position.

However, the actress had claimed that the woman in the video was not her and that she was "not going to cry over such a cheap act".

During her stint on 'Bigg Boss OTT', she had also taken a stand for Bhojpuri actresses and had stated how they are always portrayed in a negative and disrespectful light.
