Popular television actress Ankita Lokhande recently turned heads at an awards ceremony held in Mumai. She arrived in an ultra-glamorous avatar with her husband Vicky Jain.

For the occasion, Ankita opted for a green shimmery backless outfit with a plunging neckline and thigh-high split.

However, she was subjected to trolling for not being comfortable in her own attire. A video shows Ankita covering herself while stepping out of the car.

Ankita and Vicky recently participated and won the reality show 'Smart Jodi'. Produced by Frames Production, 'Smart Jodi' showcased 10 celebrity couples facing extreme challenged to prove how well they know each other.

Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain have faced their fair share of ups and downs, especially after the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, whom the actress once dated.

Ankita married Vicky in December last year in a grand ceremony. The two started dating in 2018 after meeting via their common friend, actor Arjun Bijlani.

She earlier dated Sushant from 2010 to 2016 after they worked together in the daily soap 'Pavitra Rishta'.

Actress Ankita Lokhande, whose performances in shows such as 'Pavitra Rishta' and film 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi' swept the audiences off their feet was last seen in the second season of 'Pavitra Rishta'.

Season 2 is centered around Manav, played by Shaheer Sheikh and Archana, and how their marriage, which was based on a sham, falls apart only for them to realise that their 'Pavitra Rishta' was never bound by just vows and responsibilities.

The show first aired in 2009 on television. It also starred late actor Sushant Singh Rajput as Manav. It went digital in 2020.
