Is KGF 3 on the cards for director Prashant Neel?

Following the mammoth success of 'KGF 1 & 2', director Prashant Neel has become one of the most promising directors to have emerged from Southern Indian cinema, in recent times.

This obviously translated to the filmmaker collaborating with Young Tiger Jr. NTR for the actor's 31st film, which was announced, last year on his birthday. But, that project seems to be indefinitely postponed with Tarak giving his nod to star in 'War 2' alongside Hrithik Roshan.

Neel had planned to commence shoot on 'NTR31', once Tarak had concluded shoot on his home production 'NTR30', which is being directed by Koratala Siva and stars Janhvi Kapoor. But, with the actor now being roped in to star in 'War 2' which will be helmed by Ayan Mukherji, this seems to have given ample space for Neel to conceptualise and execute 'KGF 3', if he wishes to, as the shoot on 'War 2' will commence from November.

Earlier, in a promotional interview following her Padmashri win, actress Raveena Tandon, who starred as Ramika Sen in the sequel said, "Well, I am keeping my fingers crossed that there will be a KGF 3 and we will be working on it very soon. But KGF 2 was a wonderful experience. I had fun working with these youngsters and, especially Prashanth, as a director, was so focused. He knew exactly what he wanted and what he was doing. So, it was just an amazing experience working with them."

Currently, Neel is on the verge of wrapping shoot for 'Salaar' with Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan. We really hope we get to see the light of the day for both 'NTR31' and 'KGF 3' as the director enjoys tremendous admiration and awe for how he turned Kannada actor Yash into a Pan-Indian superstar.
