Punjabi singer Garry Sandhu, known for his iconic tracks like Illegal Weapon and Yeh Baby, among others, was recently attacked by a fan during his performance in Sydney, Australia.

It all started when a person called Garry a 'jalli,' prompting the singer to respond by showing him a middle finger. The individual then came on stage to confront Garry, leading to a verbal altercation between the two, which left fans and attendees shocked.

The security quickly intervened and handed him over to the police. Several users on social media claimed that the person might have been a genuine fan attempting to hug the singer, though these claims remain unverified.

While another user claimed that the attacker got aggressive after Garry showed him a middle finger, which was offensive to him.

Garry Sandhu is yet to react or issue a statement regarding the incident.

Who is Garry Sandhu?

Garry Sandhu resides in the United Kingdom. He was born in Rurka Kalan, Jalandhar, Punjab, India.

The singer came to the United Kingdom on a student visa and worked as a construction worker in an area that was located in Birmingham illegally. Later, he got deported. He was deported after being arrested and detained by the UK Border Agency for violating immigration laws and overstaying in the country.

He made his singing debut with Main Ni Peenda, which was released in 2010. Later, Garry made his acting debut with the 2014 film Romeo Ranjha, which also starred Jazzy B in the lead, alongside Parul Gulati and Monica Bedi.

Ever since Garry has sung several tracks, including Ik Gal, Sangdi, Ja Ni Ja, Tadap, One Touch, Love You Jatta, Sip Sip 2.0, Jatt, and Coming Home, among others.
