IPL 2025 Opening Ceremony: Shreya Ghoshal Sets Stage On Fire With Her Melodious Voice In Kolkata (VIDEO)

The opening ceremony of the Indian Premier League 2025 has kicked off with a bang at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Singer Shreya Ghoshal opened the event with a mesmerising performance on her hit tracks. Dressed in a stunning shimmery purple outfit, she began her act with Ami Je Tomar, captivating the audience.

Later, she performed Ghoomar, Rang De Basanti, Kar Har Maidaan Fateh, Nagada Song Dhol Baje, and Angaaron, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag song Zinda, and Om Shanti Om title tracks, Ghar More Pardesiya from Kalank and more. She concluded with Maa Tujhhe Salaam, as the crowd joined in, making it a breathtaking spectacle.

Shah Rukh Khan, the co-owner of KKR, greeted the fully-packed Eden Gardens crowd as he kicked off the 18th season of IPL. Adding to the excitement, he delivered his iconic line from Pathaan, "Party Pathaan ke ghar pe rakhoge toh mehmaan Nawaazi ke liye Pathaan toh aayega. Aur pataakhe bhi laayega. So, let's begin the celebration like never before."

Disha Patani and Punjabi singing sensation Karan Aujla are all set to enthrall the crowd with their performance.

Meanwhile, the final of the 18th edition of the IPL is scheduled to take place on May 25, 2025.

Recently, Shreya's X (Twitter) account was hacked. The singer took to her social media handle and wrote, "Hello fans and friends. My Twitter / X account is hacked since February 13th. I have tried every thing in my capacity to reach out to the X team. But there has been no response beyond a few auto generated responses. I am unable to even delete my account since I can’t log in any more."
