India's Got Latent Controversy: Complaint Filed Against Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Makhija, Samay Raina & Others In Mumbai
A complaint has been registered in Mumbai against YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia, social media influencer Apoorva Makhija (The Rebel Kid), comedian Samay Raina and organisers of his show 'India's Got Latent' over the alleged use of 'abusive language' on the show and for 'promoting obsenity'. Strict action has been demanded against them. They are yet to react to the controversy

A complaint has been filed against YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, social media influencer Apoorva Makhija aka The Rebel Kid, comedian Samay Raina, and the organisers of the controversial show India’s Got Latent. The complaint, lodged with the Mumbai Commissioner and Maharashtra Women’s Commission, accuses them of using abusive language and promoting obscenity on the show.
Strict action has been demanded against the the YouTubers.
The controversy erupted after a viral clip from Samay's show, India’s Got Latent, showed Ranveer asking a contestant inappropriate, incestuous questions about parental intercourse. Instead of condemning the remarks, fellow panellists, including Apoorva and Samay, encouraged the conversation.

Soon after the videos from the episode surfaced on social media, they were slammed for the controversial and indecent jokes and for promoting 'obscenity'.
According to ANI, the complaint was filed with the Mumbai Police Commissioner and Maharashtra Women's Commission against them for allegedly using abusive language on the show.
Meanwhile, after the backlash, the Hindu IT Cell also filed a complaint against Ranveer and Samay with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for 'promoting obscenity.' Many viewers have accused the show of crossing ethical boundaries, citing its use of lewd jokes, racist remarks, and objectification.
As public outrage grew, netizens took to social media to demand a boycott of India’s Got Latent and its participants. Many have called for unsubscribing and unfollowing Ranveer's channel, arguing that he should be held accountable for his remarks.
Despite the growing controversy, neither Samay, Ranveer, nor Apoorva Makhija has issued a statement or reacted to the matter in any way.
