Kareena Kapoor Khan praises Alia Bhatt for embracing motherhood at peak of her career: 'I love her for that, I am her fan'

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is busy promoting her film 'Laal Singh Chaddha', recently praised Alia Bhatt for embracing motherhood at the peak of her career in Bollywood.

In an interview with MidDay, Kareena called herself a fan of Alia who is expecting her first child with her cousin Ranbir Kapoor.

"I think it’s the bravest and coolest decision for Alia. She is promoting her film, looking ravishing as ever. There is no bigger star than her today, and I am not being biased because she is a part of my family. I am saying this because she is a spectacular actor," Kareena said.

She added, "After delivery, she will go on to do the best of films. She has stood up for the most beautiful [feeling], which is, ‘I want to have a child with the man I love.’ She wants to experience the most beautiful thing in life, and I love her more for that. I am her fan."

Alia took the nation by storm after she announced that she is expecting her first child in June 2022.

Ranbir and Alia had fallen in love with each other on the sets of their upcoming film 'Brahmastra'. The two made their first appearance as a couple at Sonam Kapoor's wedding reception in 2018.

The couple tied the knot on April 14, 2022, at their Bandra apartment with just family and close friends in attendance.

On the work front, Alia is busy promoting her Netflix film 'Darlings'. She will next be seen with Ranveer Singh in 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' and 'Brahmastra'.
