UP Police Recruitment Exam Cancelled, CM Yogi Adityanath Orders New Exam In 6 Months
Reportedly, there were allegations of the question paper being leaked. As a result, students are calling for a re-examination to be conducted by the government.

Lucknow, February 24: In a significant development, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken decisive action by ordering the cancellation of the Police Constable Recruitment Examination-2023, which was held on February 17 and 18. A probe by STF has been announced. "The decision underscores the government's commitment to upholding transparency and fairness in the examination process," Principal Secretary Home Sanjay Prasad said.
The Chief Minister, in his directive, emphasized the need to maintain the integrity of examinations and denounced any attempts to undermine the hard work of aspiring candidates. "Playing with the hard work of the youth and compromising the integrity of examinations will not be tolerated," said Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, reaffirming his unwavering stance on the issue. He further warned of stringent actions against those found responsible for any irregularities.
The decision to cancel the examination followed a comprehensive review of ongoing investigations conducted by the Special Task Force (STF) and the actions taken thus far. In alignment with the government's commitment to transparency, the Home Department has also issued an order to nullify the examination.
As per the government's directive, a fresh examination will be conducted within the next six months, ensuring utmost transparency and fairness. Additionally, stringent legal measures, including the initiation of First Information Reports (FIRs), will be pursued against any instances of negligence identified during the investigation.
Furthermore, in a bid to facilitate the candidates, the government has announced free transportation facilities through the services of the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation for the upcoming examination.

In response to mounting concerns surrounding the Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer (Preliminary) Examination - 2023, conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission on February 11, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered an investigation into the matter.
The Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Appointment and Personnel has issued an official order to probe the allegations raised regarding the integrity of the examination process.
The government, acknowledging the importance of addressing complaints and maintaining the sanctity of examinations, has invited individuals to submit any relevant complaints or evidence regarding the Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer (Preliminary) Examination - 2023. Interested parties are instructed to provide their full name, address, and evidence via email to the Department of Personnel and Appointment at secyappoint@nic.in by February 27th.
The government's proactive measures underscore its commitment to ensuring transparency, fairness, and accountability in the recruitment process, reflecting its dedication to uphold the trust of the public and aspiring candidates alike.
