RRB Group D Recruitment 2025: The application date for Group D Recruitment has been extended by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). The original date to register for 32,438 Level 1 positions was February 22, 2025, but it has now been extended to March 1, 2025. The recruiting includes several positions such as Assistant Bridge, Assistant Loco Shed (Diesel), Track Maintainer, Assistant C&W, Assistant Depot (Stores), Cabin Man, Pointsman, and more.

According to the official notice, the deadline for submitting the application fee is March 3 at 23:59. The chance for application corrections will be available from March 4 to March 13.

Candidates are informed that the date of birth they enter in the form should match their matriculation, SSLC, or an equivalent certificate.

RRB Group D Recruitment 2025: Selection process

The selection procedure involves a computer-based test (CBT). In addition, physical health remains a critical prerequisite. Male competitors must run 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds and lift 35 kilograms for 100 metres in 2 minutes. Female competitors must complete a 1000-meter run in 5 minutes and 40 seconds and lift 20 kilograms for 100 metres in 2 minutes.

RRB Group D Recruitment 2025: Application fees and Salary structure

Applicants in the general category have to pay an application cost of Rs 500, which is returned once they appear for the CBT. PWBD, female, transgender, ex-servicemen, SC, ST, minority communities, and EBC applicants are required to pay a lower fee of Rs 250, which is refundable after the CBT. According to the official statement, the starting wage would be Rs 18, 000.

By January 1, 2025, the applicant's age must fall between 18 and 36. As a one-time intervention due to the COVID-19 pandemic, applicants who missed previous recruitment chances have been allowed a three-year age relaxation.

Candidates must verify that they meet the medical standards for the positions they've chosen. If an applicant fails to pass the needed medical exam, no substitute appointment will be provided, and they are not going to apply for the chosen post.
