GATE 2025 Exam Starts Tomorrow: Key Dates, Timings, And Exam Guidelines For Candidates
GATE 2025 starts on February 1 and finishes on February 16. Candidates need to bring their ID and admission card. 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM are the times for exam sessions.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 exam will start tomorrow, February 1, and end on February 16, 2025. Candidates can visit gate2025.iitr.ac.in to review the details. Candidates can review the GATE 2025 exam instructions here. On the day of the test, candidates must carry their GATE 2025 invite card and a legitimate form of identification.

Due to the ongoing Mahakumbh mela, IIT Roorkee has moved its test locations to Prayagraj. Those who selected Prayagraj as their exam city will now take the test at various locations in Lucknow. New admission cards with the updated exam locations have been issued by the institute.
Exam day guidelines:
To enter the exam room, bring a physical copy of your GATE 2025 admission card.
Make sure to get to the exam location at least ninety minutes prior to the appointed hour.
Thirty minutes after the exam starts, entry will not be permitted.
Steer clear of carrying anything that is forbidden, such electrical devices or gadgets, or anything that seems suspect.
Candidates are permitted to carry a pen or pencil, a mask, and a clear water bottle.
The exam instructions will be displayed on the candidate's computer screen for 20 minutes.
Please refrain from bringing rough notes, blank paper, or anything similar to the exam room.
PWD applicants who have been granted compensatory time are allowed to leave the exam site after 12:30 pm in the morning session and after 5:30 pm in the afternoon session.
Every year, candidates for their MTech programs must take the GATE test, which is required by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru (IISc).
