Exam Dates: July 17, 18, and 19, 2025

Shift 1 Timing: 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon

Shift 2 Timing: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

The examination will be conducted in two shifts each day across all three dates.

BPSC Assistant Engineer Exam 2025: Exam pattern

There will be six papers in the written test, two of which are optional and four of which are required. General English, General Hindi, General Studies, and General Engineering Science are the first four objective papers.

The objective format of the two optional papers will vary depending on whether the subject is electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering.

Furthermore, only the General English and General Hindi tests will qualify, and applicants must receive at least 30 points in each; other papers won't be assessed until they have earned the required minimum scores in each of the two subjects independently.
