APSC: Online applications are now being accepted by the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) for the positions of Agricultural Development Officer (ADO) in the state's Agriculture Department. By April 17, 2025, those who fulfil the requirements can apply on the official websites, apsc.nic.in or apscrecruitment.in. The goal of this recruiting is to fill 195 positions.

Selection process:

Written Exam:

Two exams will be conducted.

General Studies: Covers current affairs, Indian economy, constitution, geography, history, science, and technology.

Agriculture: Includes agronomy, soil science, plant pathology, entomology, animal husbandry, dairy science, agricultural economics, extension education, and soil & water conservation engineering.

Interview:

Candidates who qualify for the written exam will be called for an interview.

Assesses personality, communication skills, and suitability for the role.
