Infosys' Ex-CFO Mohandas Pai Takes On Karnataka Government Again, Accuses It Of Linguistic Discrimination
In another post on X, this time attacking the government's apparent minority appeasement, Pai levelled some serious allegations against the government.

Infosys's former chief finance officer or CFO, Mohandas Pai, has been a staunch critic of the incumbent Karnataka government led by the Congress party and its chief minister, Siddaramaiah. He has often taken it to his X account to attack the government on various occasions.

In another post on X, this time attacking the government's apparent minority appeasement, Pai levelled some serious allegations against the government.
This time, Pai raised the issues of some alleged discrimination against linguistic minorities in the state of Karnataka.
Hitting his usual polarising talking points of religion, Pai enquired that the Minority is not only religious minorities but also linguistic minorities. @CMofKarnataka @siddaramaiah avare"
He further accused the government of purportedly discriminating against certain groups and said, "why are you discriminating against Konkanis, Tuluvas and Kodavas who are the real minority in Karnataka."
He further added, " Why this Muslim appeasement again and again? Are they not citizens of Karnataka? What kind of social justice is this?"
Pai was reacting to another post which claimed that the Karnataka government is mulling over a 10 per cent reservation for Muslims in the state.

Reacting to Pai's comments, some netizens said the following.
One X user said, "In an office, if 90% of workers drink tea and 10% drink coffee, can the minority appeal for higher salaries and faster promotions. No?"
Another X user said, "We hope the GoI & various states come together & make 2 states - one with 100% reservation & the other with 0%. Compare both in 2 decades."

One user spoke of larger reservation at a national level and said, "BJP should give linguistic reservation for Kannadigas in all central government jobs, grants, contracts and loans. Linguistic minority issue should not be just at a state level."
Another user added, "Sir don’t give reservation on the basis of religion but on the basis of backwardness and poverty. This minority has large number of educational and economical backward population. They need constitutional support as other communities."
