The incident occurred while the doctor was on duty in the Yellow Triage Critical Area at the premises. The attendants of a patient named Santosh Kumar (age 39, male) reportedly engaged in physical and verbal abuse — tearing the doctor’s shirt, attempting to strike the face, and grabbing the doctor by the neck.
The assaulting attendant was caught by the security guards and police personnel posted at AIIMS Bhopal and was handed over to the Bagsewaniya Police Station.
