MP CM Mohan Yadav Launches Jan-Vishwas Abhiyan In Chhindwara, Announces 18k Police Recruitments, Other Vacancies | VIDEO

Chhindwara (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Friday launched the state-wide Mukhyamantri Jan-Vishwas Abhiyan-2026 from Chhindwara district.

The 6-month long campaign aims to improve public services, resolve citizens’ complaints and strengthen direct communication between the government and people.

The Chief Minister said the initiative helped bring governance closer to people and improved public trust in the administration. 

Officials also collected feedback from citizens and reviewed the progress of government schemes during the campaign.

18k police officials to be recruited

Speaking about employment opportunities, Mohan Yadav said the remaining vacancies for the current year, along with pending vacancies from previous years, would be filled during September and October.

He said, “The remaining vacancies for the current year will also be filled during September and October, along with the pending vacancies from previous years. At the same time, we are also bringing in new posts and new appointments.”

“Every department is being opened for recruitment on an equal basis. For the police department alone, we are going to appoint around 18k officers and employees over the next two years,” he added.

During his visit, Mohan Yadav reviewed public service programmes, interacted with citizens and industrialists, and inspected various development projects in the district. Officers and employees welcomed him at the FDI Auditorium in Chhindwara, where the campaign was officially launched.

Under the Jan-Vishwas Abhiyan, government officials visited different areas, met citizens and listened to their grievances.

The campaign also focused on reviewing pending complaints registered through the CM Helpline and ensuring their timely resolution.

CM felicitates newly appointed employees

During his Chhindwara visit, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also attended a felicitation ceremony organised by promoted and newly appointed officers and employees from various government departments.

Addressing the gathering, Yadav said the state government had completed recruitment for one lakh posts in the last two-and-a-half years, while the process for filling two lakh more posts was underway. He added that a fresh recruitment process had also been started for 17,000 posts.

The Chief Minister handed over appointment letters to newly appointed officers and employees and congratulated them. He said promotions and new appointments brought fresh energy to the administration, which helped improve public services and strengthen good governance.

During his visit, Mohan Yadav also visited the residence of Lokesh Dehriya, BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha Chhindwara district president and former councillor (late), and paid floral tributes. He prayed for peace for the departed soul.
