Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC) has arranged about 500 cars or vehicles for domestic and foreign delegates of Global Investors Summit 2025. The summit to be held at Indira Gandhi Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS) on February 25-26 will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The vehicles will pick delegates from airport and transport them to hotel. After this, they will be brought to the venue. If they want to visit tourist spot, they will be taken there.
All these vehicles will be equipped with GPS. Besides, there will be 50 golf carts at IGRMS to drop delegates to the domes. Only 300 vehicles will be allowed at the venue. Rest will have to park their vehicles in the parking space laid outside the museum. Fifty e-vehicles and e-buses have also been arranged.
There is one charging station at IGRMS. Other stations are also being built. Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation Ltd has handed over the responsibility of arranging vehicles for domestic and foreign delegates to MPSTDC. Its tender process is underway.
According to sources, 500 vehicles have been arranged. If needed, more vehicles will be arranged. Some cars will be kept in reserve, sources said.
Dance drama to showcase
MP A special dance drama, Amritasya Madhya Pradesh, will be staged at GIS 2025. Directed by choreographer Maitreyee Pahadi from New Delhi, the 45-minute dance drama will showcase cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh. It will also highlight the beauty and importance of major tourist destinations of the state.
