Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is coming to Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday after a year. Rahul visited the state during the electioneering for the Lok Sabha election.
But Rahul will focus on the events of the party organisation. He is not going to address any public rally during his tour of the city. He plans to hold meetings with the leaders of the organisation separately.
The Congress has also sent the leaders from outside the state as observers to strengthen the organisation on the pattern of the BJP. The observer will stay in the state for three months to bolster the organisation. The BJP generally carries out such experiments.
The BJP deploys the full-time party workers in districts during the elections. The ruling party also puts the leaders from outside the state in the assembly constituencies. The Congress is working on the same pattern to put the party back on the rail.
Rahul’s visit will strengthen the hands of MPCC president Jitu Patwari. The party lost all 29 seats in the Lok Sabha election. Afterwards, none of the senior Congress leaders visited the state. There is no election now, but the Congress is paying attention to rebuilding the organisation.
