Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inspected the waterlogging in the Gulab Nagar area of Rewa on Sunday. He directed that compensation be provided to those who have suffered losses.
CM reviewed heavy rainfall and relief operations in the Rewa-Shahdol division. Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla was also present.
Directives were given to maintain continuous monitoring in potentially affected areas and to ensure all necessary relief and rescue arrangements. Medical arrangements in flood-affected areas must be handled with care. Immediate action should be taken if conditions of excessive rainfall arise anywhere in the future, CM added.
He directed that relief camps in flood-affected areas be managed effectively. Special medical camps should be organised in all flood-affected villages and urban wards. Immediate assistance under the RBC 64 norms must be provided to those whose food supplies, homes, or other belongings have been destroyed.

The CM ordered the chlorination of all water sources and handpumps using bleaching powder to ensure the purity of drinking water.
He directed the organisation of special medical and treatment camps in all villages and urban wards impacted by the floods, noting that cases of fever, colds, and coughs must be treated seriously.
He instructed officials to immediately restore electricity supplies in villages where power had been disrupted due to heavy rains.
