Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 15-year-old girl was run over by a bus at New Jail Road in Bhopal on Sunday night. She was returning home on her scooty with her younger brother as a pillion, when a speeding passenger bus hit them. The girl fell on the ground and came under the wheels.
According to information, the deceased has been identified as Muskan Khan, daughter of Nazir Khan and a resident of Ehsan Nagar, Karond. She was a student of class 8 in a private school.
Her father informed that Muskan had gone out with her younger brother Ayan to eat noodles near the main road. While returning home, they took a U-turn near Sagar Garage when a speeding bus collided with their scooter.
Younger brother suffered minor injuries
The collision caused Muskan to fall under the front wheel of the bus, after which her chest was crushed under the bus's front wheel, leading to her immediate death. A passerby rushed her to the hospital in his car, but she was declared dead by doctors at People's Hospital.

The bus was reportedly speeding, and the driver lost control. After the accident, the driver abandoned the bus at the scene and went directly to the police station to surrender.
